WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF PHOTOGRAPHY?
We have a variety of different styles a client can choose from:
• Posed candid: When the photographer poses people so that they look like they’re in a candid pose/situation.
• Photojournalistic/candid: When the photographer shoots only what happens at the event. He/she does not get involved in any way.
• Posed: Used mostly for family shots before or after ceremonies or to capture older relatives or others by request.

HOW MANY PHOTOS DO YOU TAKE?
• Average day with 5 locations: 350-500
• Average reception: 350

WHAT ARE THE ADVANTAGES OF DIGITAL PHOTOGRAPHY?
• Digital photos can be manipulated and touched up more easily than film.
• Digital cameras are more flexible than photo cameras, the photographer doesn’t have to replace the film for black/white or sepia color photos. With digital photography the photographer can shoot and add in color or other effects in post-production.
• Digital cameras don’t use film they use memory cards a photographer can shoot as many photos as he/she wants without having to take valuable time to change film.

WHAT IS YOUR STYLE OF VIDEOGRAPHY?
We typically shoot completely candid, meaning we don’t interact with guests, unless specified at your consultation. We can shoot with skits, but that needs to be discussed at your consultation. We pride ourselves on being unintrusive.

WHAT IS YOUR EDITING STYLE?
1. Documentary editing is a more traditional approach where we edit with special effects, titling and graphics, but try to maintain the original look of your day.
2. Cinematic editing is a more modern approach usually used when shooting with multiple cameras. Cinematic editing incorporates multiple screen editing, more visual effects and additional graphics.

ARE THERE ANY HIDDEN COSTS OR EXTRAS THAT I SHOULD KNOW ABOUT?
With Rafael Studios there are NO hidden costs or extras. On top of offering packages, we also offer a menu style price list which is completely transparent and shows all of our options and additions. The package you book is exactly what you get, no surprises, headaches, or gimmicks.

DO YOU HAVE A BACKUP PLAN IN CASE OF UNFORSEEN CIRCUMSTANCES?
Remember, no matter how well organized or prepared you are, Surprises are part of life, and especially at emotionally charged events like weddings. This is one reason why you should hire a seasoned professional, not a one-man show working out of his basement. Imagine what would happen if your one man show, gets sick or is unable to attend the wedding. Our 18 years of experience is as good as gold, we always carry spare equipment, always have back up staff, and have dealt with any problem imaginable.
